What political fuel will accelerate progress?

I suppose this 50 something will be a credit to her generation and post. "Ticket to Nowhere" was published almost a decade ago and while there has been progress, we still are far from closing the gap. How frustrating for us, and tragic for the students who are being underserved. Maybe the push for K-16 initiatives noted in the Guide for Governors will speed up the high schools that have been resistant to making changes.
